Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a difficult topic for people when they first start. The basic issue is that beginners do not understand the size and scope of the Internet. They start with content, because everyone tells them that CONTENT IS KING and GOOGLE LOVES ORIGINAL CONTENT. All true. But the problem is that everybody already knows this. Then the reality sets in that this is a much more difficult task then people wanted to realize at first. There are companies that spend years on a single keyword phrase. And as a beginner, you are sitting at your keyboard wondering how you will get this done. Yes, SEO is hard.
I have been working at my blog, and internet marketing in general, for a long time now. I am starting to wonder just why is this so hard. I have been to the forums, read the blogs and been on YouTube for hours. It seems like everybody has something to say about how to get visability on line – but none of the advice is really right.
WHY IS INTERNET MARKETING SO HARD?
It seems like you should be able to learn a few techniques, such as google ranking, search engine optimization and social media strategies – and then have a run at this. But this isn’t how it goes at all.
What really happens is that you get very frustrated and you can’t make anything happen. You slave over your blog for a long time, but no results. And then you are left wondering if you messed up by investing all this time into digital marketing in the first place.
